The Rotary Club of Saskatoon Nutana was founded on Wednesday, May 31, 1961 with 26 members. The official charter presentation was held on Monday, June 19, 1961 in the Adam Ballroom of the Bessborough Hotel. The sponsoring club was the Rotary Club of Saskatoon. The chairman for the evening program was R.M.(Bob) Forrest, President of Rotary Club of Saskatoon. The guest speaker was District Governor, C.M.(Charlie) Dunn from Regina.
