Citizenship Court
Plan and arrange for a citizenship court for new Canadians

 

Rotary Achievement Awards
Recognize persons who have made outstanding contributions to the development of youth.

 

Meals on Wheels
Deliver meals to seniors and persons with disabilities.

 

Salvation Army Kettles
Assist the Salvation Army by providing volunteers for their Christmas kettles fundraiser

 

Adventures in Technology
In conjunction with the other four Saskatoon Rotary clubs billet 40 high-school students from various centres in Western Canada while they attend a special program for four days.

 

Rotary Friendship Exchange
An opportunity is also provided for Rotarians and their partners to participate in visiting on a district-to-district basis whereby Rotarians will be hosted for a period of 2-3 weeks by Rotarians in another country. Rotarians then reciprocate by hosting their counterparts when they visit Saskatoon. Exchanges have been made with South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, England Iceland, the Philippines and USA.

 

Rotary District and International Conventions
Rotary members are invited to attend one or both of the conventions that are held in the late spring each year. These events provide an excellent opportunity to learn and share information about Rotary programs and their successes as well as meet and develop friendships with people in either their own district or internationally from over 166 countries where Rotary clubs are located.

 

Rotary Workd Community Service (WCS)
World Community Service is a Rotary program by which a club or district in one country provides humanitarian assistance to a club in another country. Typically the aid goes to a developing community where the Rotary project will help raise the standard of living and the quality of life.

 

Past Nutana WCS projects include; water well (Mozambique), senior’s home (Mexico), children’s school & orphanage (South Africa), medical supplies and books (Ukraine), wheelchairs (Nepal), ShelterBox and PolioPlus. Ripple Effect Program in Guatemala and School Project in Seine Bight, Belize
